The name for my coaching business came from the verse in the Bible from John 15:4, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." Our goal is to bear much fruit in our marriages and in the world, but we can't do that unless we are truly abiding in Christ.
My mission is to help couples abide in Him first so that they can work together to bear much fruit, in their relationship with one another - spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
Evaluate your relationship today: How much fruit are you bearing together? How much fruit are you producing in your own life?
To abide in Christ, it's important to stay grafted into His presence by reading His word, spending time in prayer, and worshipping Him with a submitted heart.
You need this. Your spouse needs this. The world needs this.
Don't be a shriveled prune or like the fig tree that Jesus cursed. Instead, let your leaves be lush and green, being rooted by His living water, and produce a tree full of vibrant fruit.
